History
American Constructors was started in 1982 by its founder, Bill Heine here in Austin, Texas. The company's foundation rose from the complicated details and challenges of design-build high-rise concrete construction. Now, over 25 years later, we average an annual work-in-place volume of $125 million and employ over 180 highly skilled and dedicated people. Over 70 percent of our work is for repeat clients, a testimony to our ability to deliver successful projects.

Services
As a General Contractor/Construction Management Firm, we provide full construction services and have an experienced staff to take projects from the preliminary stage of design all the way through post-completion warranty inspections and maintenance assistance. We excel in providing input and support to projects which require a Builder with detailed engineering expertise to evaluate designs and systems, and to meet stringent budgets and schedules. Additionally we self perform a large percentage of our own concrete and carpentry work.

People
Our people are our most important resource and the basis of our continued success. We employ over 60 salary and 120 field hourly personnel, many of which have been with the company for over 20 years! Our staff is diverse, highly technical, and provides the breadth of knowledge that is required in today's challenging construction environment.
